Studio Twwo has had the privilege of branding Football star Joe Hart (JH1)
Joe Hart, winner of four golden glove awards and described by Gianluigi Buffon as “the best goalkeeper in the world..” has decided to step into the arena of social media after being notably absent over the past few years.
We were approached by Joe’s digital rights agency [Nutmeg Media], and jumped at the chance to work with such an exciting and ubiquitous local, national and international icon of football. We actually live across from the Etihad, so feel very much part of the action on matchdays!
We worked closely with Joe, Nutmeg Media and IDS Group on the logo, colour scheme and assets: to design a unique and bespoke visual identity; incorporating a new fan-oriented website (launching soon) and various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We drew inspiration from Roger Federer’s highly successful visual identity, emulating the understated, elegant and sophisticated feel whilst still conveying Joe’s calm demeanour, reliability, strength, movement and solidity as a player. ‘JH1‘ has been associated with Joe for years and it seemed only fitting to continue this tradition, as it clearly represents his initials, shirt number and ranking within the footballing community.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Joe, as a client he defines our company values and we look forward to further developing his brand and public image through his digital channels and beyond.
