Grassmovement Festival

Studio Twwo, in collaboration with London artist Cal Lewis to design and develop artwork, a brand and website for Grassmovement; a new festival debuting September 2017 on Addingham Moorside, near Ilkley (Yorkshire).

Grassmovement is a collective of like-minded creatives and activists; coming together with the sole purpose of bringing people together and enacting change.

Like dandelions and weeds pushing through the cracks in the pavement, grassroots movements push through the cracks in the system to disrupt and create change.
The movement is simple; share, create, ignite and disperse. At Grassmovement, we want to help you turn your ideas into action. Together we can start to build the world that we want to live in, starting in our homes and communities, from the grassroots up. The Movement is ours, we just have to make it.

Studio Twwo designed a website and brand for a not-for-profit activism festival.

It was pleasure working with the other creatives in the team and incorporating everyone’s ideas into a final concept that covered all aspects of the event, it’s purpose and direction for future events, awareness and fundraising. The brand is a simple design which¬†encompasses the founding principles of creating and developing ideas in a nucleus which are then dispersed and seeded elsewhere after the event. The name of the Festival itself is a reference to grassroots movements and activism, which is historically where all positive change has stemmed from and where rights have been fought for and won.

Come along and make your voice heard!
